  Mary Monteiro

USPTA Professional, Mary Monteiro, is President and Founder of Tennis Avenue.

Beginning in April,  Mary will continue her teaching at the Edward Devotion School of Brookline, MA, located at 375 Harvard Street. DASEP's spring 2010 outdoor tennis session is set to begin April 5th. Sign up at Devotion School early, classes fill up quickly. We are preparing to have a "ball" this year!  At these extended day after school program Mary's expertise ensures the proper fundamentals of playing tennis. We will be using the three tennis courts located behind the school(2:30 -3:30 Mon- Fri). Mary also develops students self-image and self-discipline, in a fun-loving environment they can learn the game of a lifetime and have lots of fun doing so.

For adults, Mary has morning hours from 8am - 12:30 and some evenings (by arrangement). In addition to using the Brookline courts at Devotion, Mary also enjoys teaching at Historical Franklin Park Zoo (two courts behind the zoo).  Mary worked with hundreds of potential driven, talented children and adults throughout the surrounding areas of Boston to develop a love for the game.  She develops her pupils beyond their personal expectations which allows them choices of any profession that would draw upon these life learned skills. Mary mainly uses outdoor public courts, two of her favorite sites are Devotion School (three courts) in Brookline and Franklin Park Zoo (two courts) at White Stadium. However, Mary will travel to other courts at the students request as long as it is in a reasonable location.

In Addition, Mary is the Webmaster of two very important sites.

www.bodyworkexchanges.com and www.tennisAve.com. Mary encourages you all to visit and enjoy.

To complement Mary's USPTA Certification, she has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from University of Massachusetts which has been a great asset to her tennis credentials.
